Maundy Thursday traditionally honors the Last Supper of Jesus with his disciples. Good Friday commemorates the crucifixion of Jesus. At First United this year, we will hold a meal and service together on Maundy Thursday (March 24) starting at 6pm.
The light, Mediterranean meal will be combined with a reflective service to honor the Love of God through Jesus. There will be fellowship time during the small meal as well as time for reflection with candles and music.
( during Lent and through Easter.)

Join us for the second annual Valentines craft party on Feb 7, right after church during Fellowship Hour. Craft Valentines for shut-ins or your own loved ones. (Because this is Super Bowl Sunday we will have a football motif.) Beverages and refreshments will be served. Time to socialize, make valentines, have a bite, think about football (and still have time to go home and watch the Super Bowl, since kick-off isn’t until 4:30pm.)
