Ministry for Adults
Adult Ed provides fellowship opportunities through Sunday morning study/disussion times, a book club, and occasional evening gathering opportunities.
Book Club
Each month there’s a book chosen by participants. Choices alternate between fiction and a nonfiction. Then the group meets at someone’s home or in the church for discussion. Books read and discussed include the novels The Guide by Peter Heller, The Dictionary of Lost Words by Pip Williams, and The Other Einstein by Marie Benedict, and nonfiction books Braving the Wilderness by Brene’ Brown, Why Are All the Black Kids Sitting Together in the Cafeteria by Beverly Daniel Tatum and The Yellow House: A Memoir by Sarah M. Broom. Please check Upcoming Events to see what Book Club is doing!
Adult Study Classes
Sunday morning studies offer time to gather and reflect more deeply on topics of faith, and how your own faith–doubts and all–interacts with the world. Study series usually run 6-8 weeks at a time and are held on Sunday mornings at 8:30 a.m. Additional Sunday evening learning opportunities are offered periodically, as well. Please check Upcoming Events to see what adult study topics and opportunities are scheduled!
