An educational presentation, led by the three Directors, will happen on Sunday, Oct. 6th during Fellowship time after church. Bring your questions. The purpose of this program is to clarify a confusing and sometimes overwhelming topic that causes two thirds of adults to postpone the task indefinitely. We will define legal terms that are commonly misunderstood. You will learn how to interview a perspective lawyer or financial advisor by knowing how to ask good questions. We will explain the multiple ways to avoid probate. Since each person’s situation is different and we are not experts, we will not give individual financial or legal advice. A form will be available at the meeting for those who would like to give a planned legacy gift to our church. This form will include all the information needed by the professional who is assisting you with your arrangements.
