ADULT SUNDAY EVENING PROGRAM: The “Immigration Detention/Private Prison Industry”
Program 6:30p.m. (Potluck 6:00 p.m)
This timely program will be presented by the Rev. Wayne Laws AND a second presentation “Casa de Paz,” will be presented by Sara Jackson, founder of the “House of Peace” which offers free meals and lodging to guests of the inmates of the detention system and to those who have recently been released.
Children & youth spend the first 20 minutes with parents in worship, then are dismissed to Sunday School.
Worship concludes about 11:00AM, with coffee and fellowship afterward.

- One Great Hour of Sharing collection (The United Church of Christ responds to development, disaster, and refugee needs in 138 countries, and provides disaster relief and immigration assistance in the United States with these funds.)

Maundy Thursday traditionally honors the Last Supper of Jesus with his disciples. Good Friday commemorates the crucifixion of Jesus. At First United this year, we will hold a meal and service together on Maundy Thursday (March 24) starting at 6pm.
The light, Mediterranean meal will be combined with a reflective service to honor the Love of God through Jesus. There will be fellowship time during the small meal as well as time for reflection with candles and music.

Come join us for an Easter pancake breakfast before Easter worship! You’ll have a choice of potato, blueberry, or plain pancakes. (You can request gluten-free if you want, as well.) There will also be ham, hard-boiled eggs, orange juice, coffee, tea and hot cocoa.
