Family fun night for all. Come join us for a Pot Luck dinner followed by a movie in the Sanctuary or games in the fellowship hall.
Christian Ed will provide the drinks and dessert, last names starting with A through L bring a main dish and M through Z bring a salad or side dish. You may also bring one of your favorite board games to share with others.
Look for a signup sheet to be posted so we get an idea of how many people plan to attend.
Our annual Mouse House, where children can buy new and gently used presents for their family members for only a quarter, will take place on December 20 after Worship in the Pastor’s study and will end at 11:30 am. There will be elves to help your children decide what they want to buy and wrap it afterward. This is a fun event and children love it. (We can use more “gifts” that the children can choose from. If you have something that you don’t need or want, please donate it to this worthwhile and fun event.)
Join us for a Christmas Eve service, starting at 5:30pm, and ending with a candlelight outdoor gathering around the live nativity (complete with animals) to contemplate the humble birth of Jesus in a stable. Stay for cookies & hot cider immediately following the service.
Children & youth spend the first 20 minutes with parents in worship, then are dismissed to Sunday School.
Worship concludes about 11:00AM, with coffee and fellowship afterward.
Today:
- Holy Communion: A Great Thanksgiving for Transfiguration Sunday
- Exodus 34:29-35 2 Corinthians 3:12-4:2 Luke 9:28-36

Join us for the second annual Valentines craft party on Feb 7, right after church during Fellowship Hour. Craft Valentines for shut-ins or your own loved ones. (Because this is Super Bowl Sunday we will have a football motif.) Beverages and refreshments will be served. Time to socialize, make valentines, have a bite, think about football (and still have time to go home and watch the Super Bowl, since kick-off isn’t until 4:30pm.) More Upcoming Events

A time for being together in a prayerful, meditative service with candlelight.

If you’re a quilter or a would-be quilter, you’re welcome to join us for a good time and for a good cause as we tie our quilts. The next one is Thursday February 18, from 1pm-3pm. (Gail Goodman or Emogene Meier would be happy to answer any questions you have.)
FYI: The Quilters meet periodically throughout the year. If you are interested in joining them, please contact the church. Don’t be frightened off by the thought that you don’t know how to quilt, because we are actually just tying the quilts and all you have to do is tie knots. They are small, lap or crib size, usually. We tie several each time and they are usually given to charity or people we know who are ill or disabled or have a new baby. Join us whenever you like.
