Enjoy singing but don’t want to solo? Join the choir! What if you don’t sing, but you want to participate in music in another way? Play handbells! Rehearsals for both the Celebration! Choir and the Peals of Praise bell choir are Sundays after worship. Contact Music Director Sue Wedaa for more information.
Our church’s retreat at La Foret is scheduled for October 7-9. Come relax and unplug, walk in the forest, walk the labyrinth, play together, and worship in the chapel. (It’s a great chance to get to know some of the people in our church better, too!) We’ll have several cabins to stay in and the dining hall will provide meals.
First United Church of Arvada is open for in-person Worship in addition to offering our services over Zoom. For in-person services, masks are highly recommended.
The nursery is open. Elementary age kids will be invited to leave the worship service partway through to attend Worship & Wonder. Kids are always welcome in the sanctuary with you or, if you prefer, you can bring your child(ren) to the foyer and still participate in the service, but with some extra wiggle room.
