First United Church of Arvada is open for in-person Worship in addition to offering our services over Zoom. For in-person services, masks are highly recommended.
The nursery is open. Elementary age kids will be invited to leave the worship service partway through to attend Worship & Wonder. Kids are always welcome in the sanctuary with you or, if you prefer, you can bring your child(ren) to the foyer and still participate in the service, but with some extra wiggle room.

- Scholarship Deadline
First United’s Scholarship Fund is designed to help students offset some of the cost of higher education. The scholarship is awarded based on several criteria, including academic achievement, demonstrated talent or skill, a clearly defined goal and financial need. Applicants must be a member of a family belonging to FUCA or be sponsored by a member and have roots in Arvada. Applications are now available here and in the church office, and must be completed by Sunday, May 8. Scholarship Awards will be announced on May 15 during church services. If you have any questions regarding the Scholarship Fund or application process, please contact Mission & Service through the church office.

We will be having an outdoor work day (coinciding with a Common Earth Community Garden work day) on May 28 from 9 am to noon. If you are able to come help us with some weeding in Ev’s Garden and the columbarium, etc., that would be wonderful!
