The Annual Congregational Meeting of the First United Church of Arvada will be held Sunday, January 27, 2019, in the sanctuary immediately following worship. The purpose of the meeting is to adopt the 2019 Budget, and to elect the officers of the church and Board members, as well as any other matters that shall properly come before the congregation. The 2018 Annual Report will be presented at the meeting. It will be sent to all those with e-mail a week before the meeting.

In advance of New Member Sunday on Feb 17, there’s a New Member Class for anyone who wants to attend, before worship, beginning at 8:45am Feb 10.

Who are the prophets? What’s their significance to today? Robbie Martin will give a short overview of some of the prophets, and open the class for discussion this Sunday, Feb 17 at 8:30am. (All are welcome.)

- Blessing Bags are compiled after worship
All who want to help assemble Blessing Bags with Mission & Service please stay! These are bags you can carry in your car to hand out to people asking for help along your way. Items that are being collected ahead of time include snacks, toiletries, socks and gloves. (Here’s the list.)
This is the newly formed board that will harness different groups of people interested in helping keep our building in good condition, improving things about our building, or looking at the financial side of things. You don’t have to participate in all parts, but if you have a specific area of interest to help with, please come to this meeting!
