The Adult Sunday School time together “Coffee and Conversation” will not be a class, as such, but rather a time when we can gather to talk about issues important to our lives as we are living them. Coffee will be served at 8:45am, with the conversation beginning at 9.
The first Conversation topic “Mindfulness & Aging–Are They Connected?” facilitated by Jeanne Bacheldor began on April 3. By popular demand, the conversation continues for a third week on April 17.
A new conversation on “Earth Day: History and Progress” begins on April 24 with Tony Satriano facilitating.
A series of conversations on “Just Eating” will begin in May.
Children & youth spend the first 20 minutes with parents in worship, then are dismissed to Sunday School.
Worship concludes about 11:00AM, with coffee and fellowship afterward.
Today:
- “Breakfast with Jesus: The Food of Spirit” John 21:1-19
- Peals of Praise bell choir plays
Common Earth Community Garden is sponsoring some free, informational, hands-on workshops for Earth Day at the location of the Common Earth Community Garden on Saturday April 23, from 4-5:30pm. Topics are

Join us for the annual Spaghetti Supper Fundraiser on April 23rd at 5:30pm. This fun evening supports our annual mission trip to La Puente, the homeless shelter in Alamosa where the youth will volunteer this July. We will begin serving at 5:30, but hope you can come early for Earth Day workshops, sponsored by the Common Earth Community Garden. Tickets are $10 for adults, $6 for children 4-13, and free for children 3 and under.

We will use scripture, prayer and stories to explore five key aspects of our relationship to food:
Food sharing as sacramental
The health of our bodies
The access others have to food
The health of the earth
The ways we use food to extend hospitality and enrich relationships
