Common Earth Community Garden Workday!
Join us on Saturday, July 28 from 9-11 at Common Earth community garden. We have several projects that need work:
Pumpkin patch sign, planning our first fall chili cook off, pulling weeds, dig a post hole for our free library. Come to work or come to meet other gardeners,

NO SERVICE AT FIRST UNITED
UCC General Minister & President Rev. Dr. John Dorhauer will be in the Denver metro area to preach at a combined worship celebration organized by the UCC Denver-Metro Association. First United Church of Arvada is one of the numerous UCC churches participating in the service Sunday July 29, 10am at Temple Emanuel, 51 Grape St., Denver. All are encouraged to attend. Visitors welcome. Please bring a non-perishable food item to donate to a local food bank. THERE WILL BE NO SERVICE AT FIRST UNITED CHURCH OF ARVADA THIS MORNING.

Children & youth (Grades K-12) are dismissed about 20 minutes in to the service for a combined Sunday school. (Nursery provided for younger children.) Worship concludes about 11:00AM, with coffee and fellowship afterward.
