First United Church of Arvada is open for in-person Worship in addition to offering our services over Zoom. For in-person services, masks are highly recommended.
The nursery is open. Elementary age kids will be invited to leave the worship service partway through to attend Worship & Wonder. Kids are always welcome in the sanctuary with you or, if you prefer, you can bring your child(ren) to the foyer and still participate in the service, but with some extra wiggle room.

Meeting to begin the planning for the the Fall Stewardship Campaign.
Seeds of South Sudan is serving a breakfast of French toast, bacon, ham, sausage, fruit and coffee at First United on Sunday, June 19, starting at 8am with a program to follow. You will be inspired by the progress our students have made during the last two years, as well as the number of new students who have been brought from the Kakuma Refugee Camp for a high-quality education, good nutrition and beds to sleep on! Includes a live visit from Arok Garang in Kenya, plus a presentation on our successes. Beaded jewelry, thank you notes, greeting cards and the book, Lost and Found: The True Story of Arok Garang, will be available for sale.

With Summertime comes the annual Game Night! It’s for all ages and family types (from singles to multi-generational families). We’ll gather outdoors at 6pm on Tuesday June 21 for dinner (bring-your-own picnic), then play games. We’ll have a few outdoor games to set up, but you can also bring one you’d like to share. Remember to bring your own picnic, drink, and something to sit on. We’ll provide some frozen treats for after the meal!

Kids are always welcome in the sanctuary with you or, if you prefer, you can bring your child(ren) to the foyer and still participate in the service, but with some extra wiggle room.
