This is the monthly planning meeting for the Worship & Arts Board–changed from its regular 3rd Tuesday of the month.
Come join us for an inter-generational VBS (Vacation Bible School) Family Fun night on June 15th from 6-8 pm. We will gather for a potluck dinner together, with last names from A – M bringing a main dish and last names from N- Z bringing a side dish. We will provide beverage and dessert. After dinner we will enjoy music and games. Bring a favorite board game to play with others. Everyone is welcome!
The focus for “Coffee & Conversation” before worship on June 19 is “Gender Bias in Politics.” Everyone is welcome to join us. Coffee is ready around 8:45, with discussion beginning at 9:00. If further topics about “Finding Common Ground” develop, we’ll continue the Coffee & Conversation addition Sundays. (The Adult Ed Committee welcomes your ideas. If you have a topic of conversation you’d like to have, speak to anyone on the Adult Ed Committee – Robbie, Mike, Steve, Tony, Bruce, Martha, Ralph.)

If you’re a quilter or a would-be quilter, you’re welcome to join us for a good time and for a good cause as we tie our quilts. The next one is Thursday June 23, from 1pm-3pm. (Gail Goodman or Emogene Meier would be happy to answer any questions you have.)
FYI: The Quilters meet periodically throughout the year. If you are interested in joining them, please contact the church. Don’t be frightened off by the thought that you don’t know how to quilt, because we are actually just tying the quilts and all you have to do is tie knots. They are small, lap or crib size, usually. We tie several each time and they are usually given to charity or people we know who are ill or disabled or have a new baby. Join us whenever you like.
