Church Retreat to La Foret
Oct 11 @ 4:30 pm – Oct 13 @ 11:00 am

The all-church Retreat to La Foret is Friday-Sunday, October 11-13. La Foret is about an hour and 40 minutes’ drive south of Arvada, just north of Colorado Springs in Black Forest. We stay in cabins & eat meals in the Dining Hall, bringing food to share Friday evening and snacks to share for the weekend. We organize some craft activities for anyone who wants to participate. You’re also invited to bring board games and puzzles to share. We usually plan a group nature walk through the forest, a time to walk the large labyrinth together, but you’re also welcome to simply relax among the trees or read a book. It’s been a great time to visit with one another! Sunday morning we hold a worship service in the chapel. (There will also be a service at First United that morning.) Registration will be due Sept 8 with full payment by Oct 1. Adults: $100 for the weekend. Children age 3-17 $40, Under 3 are free. (Scholarships available.) Meals are included, except Friday night which is a potluck and/or some arrive after dinnertime.
