Movie Night!
Nov 27 @ 6:00 pm – 8:30 pm

Adult StudyMission & Service Committee and Book Club are hosting a movie night/discussion of the film “A Man Called Ove” based on the book by Fredrik Backman. The showing will be on Sunday November 27 at 6pm in the sanctuary with some discussion time afterwards.  (In person only) Mission & Service is “charging admission” of heavy winter socks or warm gloves that will be given to The Rising Church’s homeless ministry in Olde Town Arvada.
Here’s a brief description of the film: “A curmudgeon hides a terrible personal loss beneath a cranky and short-tempered exterior while clashing with new neighbors, a boisterous family whose chattiness and habits lead to unexpected friendship.” (The movie is 2 hours long and in Swedish with subtitles.)
