All levels of instrumentalists–come rehearse Dec 1, play Dec 8 in church

We would love to have an ensemble of instruments play during the tree decorating on December 8th, during the service. The music is simple and would require one rehearsal, after worship on December 1. See Sue Wedaa for details.

Children and Youth are invited to Worship & Wonder (K-5th grade) and Youth Sunday School (6th-12th grade) about 20 minutes into the service. Nursery is provided for preschool age and younger children for the full service. Worship concludes about 11:00AM, with coffee and fellowship afterward.

• Youth set up for Spiral Garden after Worship

After Worship on December 8, Children’s Bells (Elementary Age, Beginners) will rehearse the song they’ll play on Dec 15 at the beginning of the service.

Children, youth & families are invited to walk the Spiral Garden of evergreen boughs and candles on Sunday December 8 at 4:30pm. There will be quiet music and a little candlelight that becomes more and more candlelight as each person walks the spiral and lights a candle. Stay for cider and a snack afterwards.

We’re going caroling to a few of our members who have a harder time getting out of the house. We’re meeting at the church and will carpool to the houses.

We will be having our Mouse House Christmas Shop again this year on December 15 after worship. Kids can shop for items that are all 25 cents each. We’re looking for donations of new or very gently used items for our kids to purchase. Proceeds will go to an organization in need. Please bring all items to the Church Office by Sunday, Dec 8.

A candlelight service with the Christmas story, music, and of course, candles begins at 5:30pm on Christmas Eve. For the conclusion of the service we follow Mary & Joseph outdoors to sing around the live nativity, which includes several live animals. (The animals and a shepherd or two arrive around  5:45pm & stay until 7:15pm-ish.) Cookies and hot cider follow the service.
