Children are invited to Worship & Wonder (K-5th grade) about 20 minutes into the service. Youth (6th-12th grade) stay in Worship this Sunday (no Youth Sunday School due to the youth retreat at La Foret that many are participating in). Nursery is provided for preschool age and younger children for the full service. Worship concludes about 11:00AM, with coffee and fellowship afterward.

Today:

• Daylight Saving Time Ends (Fall Back 1 hour before bed previous night)
• 3rd Sunday of Stewardship Campaign (Stewardship Moment)
• Fall Planning Congregational Meeting after worship

The congregational meeting known as the Fall Planning meeting will be held on Sunday, November 3rd following worship.

Main topics include:
–Restructuring of the Nominating Committee,
–Approval of the minutes from the previous Congregational Meeting (January 27, 2019).

Other items of consideration:
–Board Chairs will need to survey your board to see who will remain on the board.
–We will be looking for a new moderator for 2020.

Potluck & discussion of In the Time of the Butterflies by Julia Alvarez, at a member’s home. RSVP required.

Adult Ed is studying the Gospel of John from the Bible with a study book that’s available for $6. The book isn’t required, but it’s helpful. Teens and older are welcome to the study.

• Special Music by Hand bell trio with piano
• Celebration Sunday (pledges are brought forward during the service and we share a meal together after worship)
• Meal after Worship: Potluck (bring a side or dessert) + Stew (provided by Stewardship board)

After Worship, join us for some Stew from the Stewardship Committee, and bring a side dish or dessert to share.

Gloria Knutson will meet with all beginning bell ringers after church service on November 17th. We have bells for the littles as well, so bring your kids and let’em ring!
