Children begin worship with their family, then partway into worship children will be invited to leave with their teachers for their classes. “Worship & Wonder” is for K-3rd grade children. “Engage & Explore” classes is for 4th grade and up (and only meets about 3 Sundays a month). See the Ministry for Children page page for further descriptions of the classes. The nursery is available for children age 5 and under. And know that children are always welcome in the sanctuary with you!

• 8:30 am Adult Ed Discussion before worship
• For kids: Worship & Wonder and Engage & Explore will meet!
• No Fellowship Time after worship: This is La Foret Weekend, and while part of the congregation is having coffee this morning in the wilderness, we encourage you to invite a friend or organize a group to go out to coffee, or bring in your own coffee for a friend or two and enjoy it in the columbarium or in the community garden.
• Choir Rehearsal after worship

• Celebrating World Communion Sunday–Our kids will bring forward flags from around the world at the beginning of the service. We will also partake in a variety of breads from around the world.

• Choir Rehearsal following worship
• Acolyte Training for kids in 4th grade & up, following service

On Sunday, October 12, immediately following Worship we will have acolyte orientation/training for those who are interested (4th grade & up). We will meet briefly in the Sanctuary. If your child is interested in being an acolyte, please plan on attending. For our current acolytes, this is a great time for a refresher, and I could use your help with demonstrating what needs to happen! Contact Kathy Hine in the office with any questions.
