Lucia Faulkner will be letting us in on her adventure in Greece with the turtles this past year, on Sunday, August 13 during Fellowship time following Worship.
The next book is The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue. The discussion gathering will be August 18 at a member’s house for a potluck lunch beginning at 11:30am. Books are available for checkout from the church. Look on the Welcome Table on Sunday mornings. Contact the church office for more information about Book Club.

The nursery is open. Worship & Wonder is on break for the summer, but we have Summer Sunday school when kids K-8th grade will be invited to the activity about 20 minutes into the worship service. Children are always welcome in the sanctuary with you or, if you prefer, you can bring your child(ren) to the foyer and still participate in the service, but with some extra wiggle room.

Youth “Back to School” Event–Aug 27!
FUCA youth, grades 6th-12th, you are invited to a “Back to School” Field Trip on August 27th, 2023 at 11:00 am. We will leave from church and return around 1:30 pm.
We will be going to the Mother Cabrini Shrine in Golden. We will be climbing the 373 steps to the top of the mount of the sacred Heart. Please bring 1) a water bottle 2) A five dollar bill to purchase a prayer candle that you can light. The vending machine does not give change reliably, you may also bring 5 crisp one dollar bills.
