You’re invited to Our Church Family Fun Night on Wednesday June 26, starting at 5:30pm. This is a potluck followed by games. We say “church family” so you know it’s for families of all shapes and sizes: singles, couples, families with children… Bring a dish to share and a favorite game to play with others. (We may set up some outdoor games, too. More on that to come later….)

Time to clean out those closets & jewelry boxes!  We will be having a women’s (teen and up – no children’s clothing) clothing exchange on Wednesday, July 17^th at 6 pm in the Fellowship Hall.  Bring items that are in good condition – clothes, shoes, scarves, jewelry, etc.  We’ll put everything on display and you can “shop” (no $$$ involved – just take what you like!) to your hearts content.  There is no limit to what you can take, you don’t even have to bring anything in order to shop.  We want this to be a relaxing time to get together, “freshen up” your wardrobe, move other items along and have a good time!  Snacks will be provided.

Metro-Denver UCC churches will be gathering at Park Hill UCC, 2600 Leyden St. Denver, CO 80207 for worship together on Sunday July 28. Some First United members will worship there, but we will also hold worship at First United for those who find it more difficult to travel a distance. A carpooling sign-up is on the welcome desk just inside the front door. (And all are invited to gather at Lake Arbor for the picnic that Sunday around noon.)

(Some members will worship with the Metro-Denver UCC churches who are meeting at Park Hill UCC at 10am for a joint area worship service. )

Each year the choir gathers for a year-end potluck picnic. Anyone is welcome to join in at the Lake Arbor Pavilion for a potluck lunch after the worship service on July 28. There’s a playground in walking distance with a port-a-potty. Bring a dish to share and your own plates/silverware/drinks. The choir has the pavilion 11am-4pm.
