Calendar
The book “Grounded: Finding God in the World” by Diana Butler Bass, a leading commentator on religion, politics and culture, will be the source of our fall Adult Study. We’ll explore and meditate upon the idea of a “more intimate sense of the Sacred that is with us in the world”, a shift from a vertical understanding of God.
Pastor Karin will introduce us to the study on September 17 (Genesis). Each week for the following five weeks we will focus on our natural habitat – (:dirt, water, sky) and human geography (roots, home, neighborhood, commons).
Books are available in hardback and online from Cokesbury Press, Amazon, and other book sellers. Not required for participation.
Children & youth stay for the first 20 minutes or so, then are dismissed for the Youth Sunday School (for middle & high school age kids) and Worship & Wonder (for elementary age children). (Nursery provided.)
Worship concludes about 11:00AM, with coffee and fellowship afterward.
Today:
