A conversation about “Earth Day:  History and Progress” begins on April 24 with Tony Satriano facilitating.

Quilt Display & Sale
May 8 @ 8:45 am – 12:00 pm

The quilting group will display and sell quilts we have accumulated over the year on Sunday May 8 (moved from May 1 because of the wet weather). Pick up a gift for Mother’s Day, for a new baby or a nice lap cover for yourself or someone in a wheelchair. Most of the quilts sell for $25, which is a donation to the church and is much appreciated. Actually, we always have some on hand if you have a need. You can ask Gail Goodman or Emogene Meier for a showing any time.

FYI: The Quilters meet periodically throughout the year.  If you are interested in joining them, please contact the church. Don’t be frightened off by the thought that you don’t know how to quilt, because we are actually just tying the quilts and all you have to do is tie knots. They are small, lap or crib size, usually. We tie several each time and they are usually given to charity or people we know who are ill or disabled or have a new baby. Join us whenever you like.
