First United Church of Arvada is holding Worship services and other gatherings online for now. If you’d like to join us for Zoom worship, fill out this form to get the Zoom info.
Worship for Today:
- Holy Communion
Due to the weather, the Outdoor Bring-Your-Own picnic gathering was moved from May 30 to June 6. Worship will happen on Zoom as usual, then we will meet at the church, out front at 12:30pm. Wear a mask or have one at hand, please. Bring a picnic lunch for yourself/your family, and lawn/camp chairs and/or a blanket. RSVP to the church office by Friday June 4.
Christian Ed is bringing back the Family Fun Night this summer, but this year it’ll be all outdoors and you’re asked to bring-your-own-picnic (no potluck) to make it safer for all. We’ll have more details as we near the date.
Book Club is reading 2 books:
Fiction: Florence Adler Swims Forever by Rachel Beanland (We’re planning a Zoom meeting with the author on June 24.)
Non-fiction: Caste by Isabel Wilkerson
Book club will meet Friday June 18, 3:30pm at one of our church members’ home (outdoors). Please contact the church office for more information.
