Children (elementary age) & youth (middle & high school) stay in worship for first 20 minutes or so, then are dismissed for Easter Sunday activities with their age groups. (Nursery provided.)
Worship concludes about 11:00AM, with coffee and fellowship afterward.

After the Easter Worship Service, enjoy a continental breakfast for all and an egg hunt for the youngest of us.
Quilters need you! Come participate in the construction of colorful artwork and friendly conversation, and sharing of refreshments. You don’t need to know how to quilt, all you will do is tie knots. See Gail Goodman or Carolyn Anderson if you have questions. Meet in the library/fireside room.
Common Earth Community Garden will be holding a Howard Brown Memorial Celebration on Earth Day, April 22 at noon, with light refreshments and a ceremony in the community garden.
The 2nd Annual Earth Day Workshops will begin afterwards at 1pm and continue until 4pm at First United Church of Arvada.

Mike Maus and Jerri Lou Maus will share their experience of changing life for Mike due to his new diagnosis, and Char Pasco, will also join the conversation based on her own life-changing experiences.
Saturday Apr 29, 5:30pm–Spaghetti Supper
Come support the youth of our church in their annual Spaghetti Supper Fundraiser on Saturday April 29 at 5:30pm. This fun evening supports our annual mission trip to La Puente, the homeless shelter in Alamosa, CO where the youth will volunteer this July. Serving begins at 5:30pm. Tickets are $10 adults, $6 children ages 4-13, free for children 3 & under.

Gordon Keift and Jerry Arca of Colorado Faith Communities to End Gun Violence will present a program about this organization with particular emphasis on gun safety. Our church has a chance to become a part of this “community” and we value your input.
Please join us for a most interesting presentation on the “culture of gun violence” and learn how thinking about this issue in terms of gun safety can engage each of us.
