For this next month, Book Club is reading Georgia: A Novel of Georgia O’Keeffe by Dawn Tripp. It is a work of fiction inspired by the life of the American artist Georgia O’Keeffe. We will meet to discuss on Friday, Dec 6 @ 11:30 AM at a church member’s house, and will begin with our annual holiday brunch. There is a book kit for this, so the church has some copies to lend. Contact the Church Office for any questions.

Join us at 10 am to help adorn the Sanctuary with the tree, lights and garlands!

All are welcome to attend, any time! We’re currently working through the Advent devotional, “Starry Nights”. We welcome your ideas about topics of interest and concern as you move forward, seeking to listen to the wisdom of the faith that sustains you.

Children begin worship with their family, then partway into worship children will be invited to leave with their teachers for their classes. “Worship & Wonder” is for K-3rd grade children. “Engage & Explore” classes is for 4th grade and up (and only meets about 3 Sundays a month). See the Ministry for Children page page for further descriptions of the classes. The nursery is available for children age 5 and under. And know that children are always welcome in the sanctuary with you!

The Mouse House Christmas Shop is a tradition here at First United where kids can buy items for family members for only a quarter or two, each!  The items–mostly gently-used–are all donated by our congregation.
Christian Ed will donate proceeds to an organization in need.
