Adult Ed is studying the Gospel of John from the Bible with a study book that’s available for $6. The book isn’t required, but it’s helpful. Teens and older are welcome to the study.

Children & Youth are invited to Worship & Wonder (K-5th grade) and Youth Sunday school (6th-12th grade) about 20 minutes into the service. Nursery is provided for preschool age and younger children for the full service. Worship concludes about 11:00AM, with coffee and fellowship afterward.

• 2nd Sunday of Stewardship Campaign (Stewardship Moment)
• Video presentation about “Who Are We?” with pictures from First United over the past year
• New Member Sunday

Youth (6th-12th grade) stay in Worship this Sunday (no Youth Sunday School due to the youth retreat at La Foret that many are participating in). • Daylight Saving Time Ends (Fall Back 1 hour before bed previous night)
• 3rd Sunday of Stewardship Campaign (Stewardship Moment)
• Fall Planning Congregational Meeting after worship

The congregational meeting known as the Fall Planning meeting will be held on Sunday, November 3rd following worship.

Main topics include:
–Restructuring of the Nominating Committee,
–Approval of the minutes from the previous Congregational Meeting (January 27, 2019).

Other items of consideration:
–Board Chairs will need to survey your board to see who will remain on the board.
–We will be looking for a new moderator for 2020.

• Special Music by Hand bell trio with piano
• Celebration Sunday (pledges are brought forward during the service and we share a meal together after worship)
• Meal after Worship: Potluck (bring a side or dessert) + Stew (provided by Stewardship board)
