About 20 minutes into the service, kids K-3rd grade will be invited to Worship & Wonder and 4th-6th to their own class. Know that children are always welcome in the sanctuary with you or, if you prefer, you can bring your child(ren) to the foyer and still participate in the service, but with some extra wiggle room.

The October book is The Thursday Murder Club by Richard Osman. Discussion will be Friday Oct. 6, 2pm at a church member’s house. Books are available for check-out from the church. (Check the Welcome Table on Sunday mornings.) Please contact the church office for more information.

Our Church Family Retreat to La Foret Conference and Retreat Center is set for October 6-8! This a wonderful chance to play together and spend time in the forest! We don’t overschedule the weekend, but we do have some activities planned. Costs and deadlines are below.
$130 per adult,
$50 per child (ages 3-17),
free for 2 and under,
$30 for Saturday only (covers cost of meals).
Sign up deadline (through the church office) and half the fee is due is Sunday, September 10 so we have a head count. The other half is due by Sept 24. If you want to come and need financial assistance, contact the office or Pastor Karin.

Today:

• All Saints Sunday–we will have a time during the Worship service to remember all those we’ve lost in this last year within our church community. You’ll be invited to come forward to say your loved one’s name, light a candle, and we will ring a bell for each person lost within this last year. After that, we’ll open this time of remembrance for speaking the names of others lost over a longer span of time, and ring a bell for each soul.
