The Adult Sunday Study Class is reading and discussing On Tyranny by Timothy Snyder through early February. Thanks to the Jefferson County Library for providing books to borrow!
Children (K-5th grade) and Youth (6th-12th grade) stay for about the first 20 minutes of the service, then are invited to Worship & Wonder (K-5th) and Youth Sunday school (6th-12th) down the hall. Nursery is provided for preschool age and younger children for the full service. Worship concludes about 11:00AM, with coffee and fellowship afterward.

The Annual Congregational Meeting of the First United Church of Arvada will be held on Sunday, January 26, 2020, in the sanctuary immediately following worship. The purpose of the meeting is to adopt the 2020 Budget, elect the officers of the church and Board members, approve the up-dates and changes to the Constitution and By-Laws, as well as any other matters that shall properly come before the congregation. The 2019 Annual Report will be presented at the meeting. It will be sent to all those with e-mail approximately a week before the meeting. Hard copies will be available for those who do not have email.

In the spirit of illuminating the talent housed in our church, Byron Flateland will share his photography with us with a video display of some of his many, many beautiful photographs from around the world, on Sunday, February 2, in the fellowship room. Plan to take time to see his amazing work.
